Change the Conversation with Yourself – Say This, Not That

Words are powerful especially when we are having self-defeating conversations with ourselves. Without realizing it, the conversation we have in our head convinces us of something which ultimately makes it happen. What is most unfortunate about this is that what we tell ourselves are usually things of doubt, disaster or failure.

Help yourself be better by changing the conversation with yourself. Stop beating yourself up about how, what and who you are now and start having a conversation about who you are meant to be.

Say This, Not That

  • Say I can; not I can’t
  • Say I’m a winner; not I’m a loser
  • Say I am; not I am not
  • Say I am valuable; not I am dispensable
  • Say I am confident; not I am unsure
  • Say things will get better; not things can’t get worse
  • Say I am full of energy; not I am tired

Don’t underestimate the power of the conversation you are having with yourself and the limitations that it puts on you. Because having a positive conversation with yourself will awaken strength, confidence and courage within you. It will open countless opportunities for growth. As a result, changing the conversation with yourself and you lead you to victory.
