Tuesday Tip: Make it Real

Starting the day with clarity is the first step in making a difference as a leader. Clarity alone will not make the difference.

The difference comes when you show exactly how the “what” equates to the success of your over-arching goals and objectives.

Start with the end in mind, this should be very easy to pinpoint. Next, think about exactly what change is necessary to take you from where you are now to your end goal. This becomes your starting point. From there fill in everything in between. This map will show how the “what” equates to the success of the team’s goals and objectives.

When you make it real for your employees it is easier to gain buy-in and helps keep them motivated and focused. It also removes the ambiguity and aligns the team toward accomplishing greatness.
